Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Popina, Gateway Sydney
Impress your loved one this Valentine’s Day by taking them to one of Sydney’s newest restaurants, Popina Kitchen.
A joint collaboration between the owners of Shuk (North Bondi) and Salt Meats Cheese, their eight-course set menu will send you both into a foodie frenzy.
Designed by Executive Chef, German Sanchez, the Popina menu pays homage to his Argentinian-Italian roots with a strong Middle Eastern influence.
Drawing inspiration from Italian, Israeli, Argentinian and Lebanese flavours, Sanchez has created a delicious special menu to celebrate the occasion.
The menu comprises:
Amuse-bouche | Watermelon, feta, pomegranate, mint
Sydney Rock Oysters | Horseradish, cucumber
Kingfish | Calamari mayonnaise, pickled daikon
Octopus Carpaccio | Papaya, sumac
Saffron Risotto | Red mullet, lime, Aleppo pepper oil
Tasmanian Beef Fillet | Cauliflower, almond pure, date jus
Fruit Sorbet | Mango, ginger, passionfruit
Phyllo-Millefoglie | Chocolate chilli mascarpone, berries, pistachios

The charge of $125 per person includes the eight courses plus a flute of GH Mumm Rosé Champagne on arrival.
