Zema Estate 2006 Saluti
Coonawarra SA | 14.0 per cent alcohol | $90
This blend of cabernet sauvignon and shiraz isn’t cheap, but in the world of ultra-premium red wine it isn’t overpriced either.
I’d certainly rather have six bottles of this in my cellar than the single bottle of Penfolds Grange I could get with the same hard-earned.
Combine with a slow-roasted leg of lamb and some steamed spring vegetables and you’ll be close to nirvana.
