Blue Pyrenees 2010 Midnight Cuvée

Avoca/Pyrenees | 12.1 per cent alcohol | $29

Blue Pyrenees, near Avoca in central Victoria, has French origins, having been established in the early 1960s by Remy Martin, which had strong connections with Krug and Charles Heidsieck Champagne houses.

Night-time handpicking under lights has ensured retention of fresh fruit flavours.

A delightful bubbly with a strong, fine bead and lovely bready, yeasty characters.
