Get rockin’ with this double-CD compilation
Sydney’s Ol ’55 hit the jackpot with the release in 1976 of their debut album Take It Greasy, which featured probably their greatest hit, On the Prowl, and set them up as the most successful Australian rock ’n’ roll band of the 70s and the first half of the 80s.
Festival Records and WMA have now released Time to Rock ’n’ Roll: The Anthology, a double-CD, 56-track collection of the best work from the band that featured Frankie J Holden and Wilbur Wilde.
It’s as good a collection of the genre as you’ll find, and really does feature some great songs.
The double album should be available for about $24.95 from most record stores but if you shop around you’ll probably get there for $5 less. If you’re having problems visit https://lnk.to/Ol55TimeToRockNRoll.
